Econ HW

Research:
  1. Visit the website (neda.gov.ph). Get a copy of GNP Computation using the 3 approaches (Class no. 1 - 2010; 2 - 2009; 3 - 2008; 4 - 2007; and so on).
  2. Look for the other indicators:
    • inflation rate
    • unemployment rate
    • population rate
    • real GNP Growth from previous year (using available bass year)
    • real GNP per capita
    • purchasing power parity of the peso relative to the dollar
  3. Year in Review (Assigned Year)
    • Explain the different events and their influence in the economy.
    • How can the parameters explain the state of the economy?
  4. Define how the government uses:
    • fiscal policy (tools and parameters)
    • monetary policy (tools and parameters)
    • Income policy (tools and parameters)
    • supply-side policy (tools and parameters
